Cryptanthus
The plants in the genus Cryptanthus are also known as "earth stars" because of their shape and their natural habitat on the forest floor. They only need filtered light and are susceptible to sunburn. They have subdued colors on the leaves. These are all small plants and are popular in dish gardens.
